im considering doing this my self with the uk update service i currently have a unbranded unlocked k700i with R2L001 what version will i be updated to ive read the k700i filmware overview an was un clear of that what improvments will i see whats the likeyness it will kill my phone will i losse my content an can i just use a usb cable to do this (which model cable )or will it only work with a sync station (which one an is the usb cable included)

UK SEUS will currently update your phone to R2AE033 which is worth doing. There is also a more recent upgrade being rolled out and this will take your phone to R2AY004. The upgrade procedure is fairly problem free assuming you follow the instructions to the letter. You will need a docking station (DSS-20 or 25) and you must not plug your power supply into this so your phone needs to be fully charged. |

thanks for you help i did read the post but wanted it cleared up will my content be deleted eg themes an games is it worth buying the sync station to do it my self when should i expect for the other version to be availble |
