SE PC Suite 1.6.9 Installation Problem |

Whenever I try to install the PC Suite ( from the cd-rom or from the downloaded installationfile ), I get an error message : " Internal Error : 2738 " and the installationprocess fails.
What could be the problem i'm facing?
I'm running Win XP SP2 and my phone is a SE K750i.

That's a Visual Basic runtime error, it means that it can't find a needed file.
Try downloading the latest scripting package from M$:
http://www.microsoft.com/down[....]EB-95A22B832CAA&displaylang=en
Run it, restart your computer and try installing the sync suite again. It usually sorts that error out, but not always...

I was getting the same error so I just copied all the files from the disc to my hard drive then ran the install. It worked fine that way for some reason. |
