Hello!

I was wondering if it was possible to use my Motorola V330 as a modem. I have the USB DATA CABLE KIT, (this: http://images.auctionworks.com/hi/61/61482/CMOTV60XUSB3.jpg ). Besides the drivers, would I need to install any software?

I'm currently a T-Mobile Subscriber, and I have the t-zones $4.99 service. I found out from http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=68336&r=a that there's no difference between the $9.99 t-zones and the $4.99 t-zones, am I right? Is it possible to use my phone as a modem with just the $4.99 t-zones? If so, how would you do it? God, I really need help with this >_>!

Thanks in advance,
Yellow Yoshi

You can likely get connected but may not get anywhere, because of port restrictions that T-mobile has in place.

You can try using t-mobile's proxy to get around it however.

216.155.165.50 port 8080

If you get connected but can't get content you'll need the 19.99 internet. Ask for the VPN you get it so you can get an addressable IP. It doesn't cost anymore and you'll get access on all ports.

God, I'm so confused :S. How can I use T-mobile's proxy? I'll really appeciate it if you could help me there.

Also, what's the VPN? I know it means Virtual Private Network, but what exactly is it?

@ djpowelly,
Yes, you can dial-up directly from my V330.
