k750i - Video Playback |

Fellow k750i users may have noticed that when playing large, high quality (high bitrate, like 150+ kbps) videos, the playback often 'stutters' / skips frames. Reducing the quality to say 128kbps or so fixes the problem.
My question is, what exactly causes this? Other users say putting these high quality files onto the phone memory often solves it. Does this mean the problem is from the phones inability to process the data from the memory stick? Or is it simply the phones hardware that is incapable of playing these high quality videos flawlessly. Is it a problem that a future firmware could deal with?
What would be nice is a firmware that would allow you to play videos encoded at 220x176.. which is the full screen resolution when playing videos horizontally..... |

According to me you are using high bitrate. And putting the video in phone memory cannot solve the prob. So you should encode the videos at lot bitrate. Better use a pocket pc 4 watching them. Just my 2 cents

What do you mean by use "pocket pc?"
Anyway, is 3gp superior in terms of smooth playback vs mp4? |
