This phone is SO cool! I can tell I'm going to be happy for quite a while and I don't think i'll be missing my P900 so much with a replacement like the K750i.

It came with R1A044 EMEA6 with russian and arabic and some others, can't remember.
Everything is fine, I haven't encountered any stability issues or anything yet (granted I've only used it for ~1.5 hours now!) but all seems well.

Only thing that bugs me is the incoming speaker volume is WAY too low, my P900 was very loud, this is pathetic even at highest setting.

But mp3 ringtones are super loud and so is speakerphone.

I also just discovered that my camera is silent when taking picutes in silent mode, no loud shutter sound! I don't know if this is just because of R4A or EMEA6 pack or both.

I kinda want to upgrade to R1L because I hear it fixes issues with the low incoming call volume and makes battery life longer along with stability fixes. but now i'm not so sure.
the lowered camera video/pic quality i keep hearing about scares me as does the fact that the shutter sound may start playing on silent mode.
anyone with R1A EMEA6 upgraded to R1L? is the shutter sound on now?

Thanks all!

I'm at work and all my coworkers love this thing, so fun!

R1L + EMEA_6 - No shutter sound in silent mode. I confirm!

Moreover, difference in still pic quality is barely noticeable (or absent, if I shall say). People will argue to that but I'll say what I see. And mind it if not pro, I m not a newbie either in digital photography.

Video quality will be lost ofcourse.

And as for ring volume, as said in other thread, this might be some other issue with your phone hardware.

ring volume is great and super loud! it is only incoming voice volume that is too soft.

Basically you should wait with the rest of us until Sony release an update that works!! Without introducing new problems like video or picture difficulty.

Once they release a working updat4e alll should be well
