Hi

Any one using GPRS/MMS service in BSNL south zone ? I am planning to subscribe GPRS/MMS service on my BSNL Cellone connection. Before jumping into the GPRS/MMS wagon, I would like to know about the GPRS/MMS performance in BSNL south zone especially in Kerala. One of my friends subscribed GPRS/MMS service 6 month back and got very poor performance and he disabled the service after two months. So I am in a confusion to go for GPRS/MMS or not. Please share your BSNL GPRS/MMS experience and help me to decide.

Once you set your bsnl gprs, it should work well. But the puzzle is can you fight against all the odds to set your gprs? That is a tough nw to deal with lol.

Why don't you go for the tried and tested airtel?

In general BSNL Service is not bad. But when it goes wrong, there practically is not much by way of Helpdesk etc.

As you said Harish, GPRS would be a very very location specific issue. Am sorry for not being helpful there. But rest assured, even State owned Operators are queit ok compared to private. BSNL would still be a cost effective option. Their GPRS is as good as anyone else's..
