How quick are you with cellphones? |

Often we see few/many of us expect our cellphone to execute commands, equal to the speed of our thoughts. i.e. We force it to function quicker. .. How much may this affect the phone? .. . . . . . . ... . Or doesnt it lead to any trouble to the phone at all?

Although i didn't quite fathom your first post, one thing i am sure about is the fact that i am really quick with my cellphone. Infact, i can type faster on a keypad than on a keyboard. |

i dont think it wud affect the phone in any way, its just a machine there to obey commands, i dubt the speed wud affect it.... its programmed to it, and is not human and cant have burnout coz it cant cope coz its worried if it left the stove on and its boss is on their case 24 7!!! ... catch my drift..

Here i have witnessed few cases. One has got his software locked. Another person's BACK command button has gone bad.
Both are very quick.

I'm very quick but both the K600 and the K700 can keep up to my pace while I'm inputing text and going through the menus.

While browsing i have seen this quick move leads the phone lock at times. We can remove the battery and restart it ok. But one of those locks stay irrevertable, and asks for service. Though a long shot dont we take a chance? This message was posted from a WAP device

@pradhika - In my experience, mobile phones don't hang because of inputing data very quickly. There may be slowness in response but that's it. If there's a firmware bug that'll cause it to hang, it'll hang when the key combination at fault is made, regardless of input speed. As for damaged buttons on the keypad, the solution is to press a little lighter.
