I don't think there is a limit in numers, but there is a limit in the phones memory.

Dunno if I made myself clear.
I don't mean the number of ringtones; I mean the number of contacts to which I can assign personal rings. Is there a limit to this, or can I in theory assign each of the 510 contacts their own tone?

I doubt the phone's memory could cope with that, I don't know. Why don't you try and let us know?
I don't think I would have done it thoug (even if it works), you'll never know that it's your phone ringing.
