i wouldn't have though SE would allow the networks to brand the w800 as its already heavily branded as a walkman and i'm sure SE will want to keep it that way??

this is confirmed as true... Vodafone will NOT b branding the W800i as SE wont let ne1 do that! WALKMAN is too big a brand to destroy with voda stuff etc etc....

It would make a very bad point to brand a "MP3 player" cellphone. Who in there right mind would buy it if it was crippled with Voda branding from the start...

If Vodafone branded the W800i then it would be the same as the Voda branded K750i anyway.
