Hi guys,

just about to get a new phone and looking at getting the K750 but i want to know a few things first, can you set your own text message tone rather than the pre-definaed ones on the K700, is the text message memory now included in the whole phone memory or is it still seperate and has had anyone had any firmware problems such as telephone numbers disappaearing as on the K700?

Cheers

J

There are some threads which discuss about features ,bugs etc about k750 such as 'k750 discussion thread' etc . There you should be able to find answer to your queries.

1. You can set your own tone as msg alert.

2. Text msgs memory is still separate but increased to 200+ messages.

3. After current firmware updates, phone has reached to quite stable state. There are no show stopper problems. Only known drawback is low quality vid recording but that is a secondary function anyhow. And that too is expected to be fixed in near future.

I own one myself and am quite satisfied with it. No issues whatsoever.

As for stability:

I have had mine for about 2 weeks now, and it runs perfectly, and I haven't even updated the firmware. R1a is doing fine for me at the moment, so I have no reason to upgrade it.

Note - I bought my K750 SIM free, so i have completely unbranded firmware, which may be why I haven't experienced any of the bugs.
