I've to make a phone decision for someone. Is this phone good? It costs a lil more than the k508i but has around 2mb lesser memory. How is the battery? Can it be recommended over the k508i?

Featurevise the Samsung loses to the SE, no mp3-ringsignals, no videorecording. When it comes to batteryperformance past experienses says the Samsung fares fairly bad when compared to the SE!

Why not you just by K508 and forget other phones?
K508 is a good choice.

I had an E330 as a free upgrade for a while, I have to admit I wasn't a big fan of the phone, I ended up selling it. From what I can remember, texting was tricky, battery didn't last very long, and wap browsing was slow and tricky too. Transferring pictures and things to and from the phone was a pain too, as it has no connectivity whatsoever, and you have to use a data cable (which wasn't supplied with my phone) using Samsung's software, which was unreliable at best. It did look and feel nice, though!
Personally, I'd go for the K508. I know you've had a bad experience, but that may just have been a dud phone. Save your money and get the K508, or perhaps a K700i if your budget will stretch to it

@Sammy. There you are. K700i stands taller at that price.
