guys here i saw a bluetooth transciever which has a 100m coverage (yeah right 100m) connecting via usb(bar 100m).So my question is will i be able to use my t68 in this 100 m range instead of 10m while using with my computer or should t68 also support 100m to do this? |

No the100m range is too demanding for the T68i. The phone will only work up to a maximum of 10m away from the tranceiver

If the BT tranceiver \"exactly\" works in range 100m, then it can be used with any device that support BT. But at last it should be tried to make sure. :-)

Std. Bluetooth ranges are 10m or 100m.
The ranges given for Bluetooth devices are transmission ranges (100m corresponds to +20dBm transmit power), so it wont work for your T68i, as the connection has to go both ways.
BTW, the 100m range is probably optimistic for any BT device when used indoor. Outdoor it should be possible. 40m is more realistic, IMHO.
However, a few devices claim they have a very high reception sensitivity, and at least one (the MSI USB adapter) claims 20dBm better than std. reception sensitivity which *should* allow it to work at 100m range with a T68. However I never saw a company claiming that they have longer receive ranges, they just claim better sensitivity. This should be the same though, and we are free to make the calculations our self.
Unfortunatly I have heard user reports that says that MSI doesn't have 100m range to a T68 |
