Samsung is planning a new type of mobile phone that can play MP3 files directly to the internal speakers of your car. The systems first success was performed at the Audi corporate headquarters in Germany last week.

Samsung says their future D600 mobile phone with Bluetooth technology will have 30GB of storage for your music collection. The “Super Music Phone” is expected to hit the market mid next year and sports a 2 megapixel camera with TV output.

Always had a soft spot for Audi's, and the new models look damn fine...

I wonder if all Bluetooth supported handsets will be transfer music to the vehicles MMi (Multi Media Interface) the way D600 doe's.

looks a bit too small to hold a 30 GB HDD

That phone must have some super-duper battery... to play mp3's for hours over a bluetooth connection possibly without a car charger?
SE's latest phone don't work with car manufacturers O/E bluetooth due to powersaving requirements, meaning that they are unable to maintain a constant connection, except during a phone call.

The "30 GB memory" wouldn't be the only breakthrough in that phone.
It will be interesting to see if it progress's past the announcement stage.
