My SE t290i has airtel gprs settings already. I want to change it to hutch connection. So with a hutch sim, when I installed hutch gprs settings, it is neither able to replace the airtel settings nor it adds into new wap profile. Now whenever I tried to delete the airtel settings, my phone gets locked so that every time I have to remove battery and restart. Even a master resetting wont take complete execution and at the end of it, it locks again. Other- wise functions are ok. Pl. Help me.

I contacted airtel people. They suggest things like give bath to your phone etc... In the meantime I am trying to solve this. The moment I solve it I WILL share it here. Grateful for more tips pse.

Ha ha @ Private. I will go for 750 when its price slides down. Now that my 290 in trouble I like it more. @Amd. No errors since phone is working ok.

you are telling that master reset dosen't complete fully, then it think it may be a hardware issue. may be you must take it to a service center and reinstall the firmware. did you get the phone from any airtel scheme??

Hi Pradhika, Mostly either you have NOT deleted all of your handsets settings from prev. provider or NOT properly installed Orange settings.

# Salora (ASS for SE in India) people have mostly been successfuly to confuse more THAN help more.
# I suggest- If you want I will give the settings of Hutch which you can Manualy feed (if Airtel settings not deleted jus rename n edit 'em with Hutch's). These are from der internal manual n am sure works. I should know !

# OrangeShop lastly should be approached.
Today is the First Day of the Rest of my Life!

@Sailaab. I have all the manual settings. When entering ip there the phone locks again. As for as complete deletion of a.tel settings, the whole problem started there. Lol.
