I got that to start with. Have you installed the hole PC suite that came on the CD. This seemed to fix it for me. |

Yes.
Im not using that though, Windows should and used to recognize it as a plug in and play hd. |

My XP pro sp2 didn't reconise it till I installed the pc suite. But if you've put that on then sorry can't help you.
You could try uninstalling and then start from scratch. |

You could also try turning off the phone, then connect your usb cable to your PC, then holding the "C" button plug your phone to the usb cable and see if windows detect a new device, if so you could install it with the drivers found on the pc suite CD.
Maybe its all about corrupted or missing files.... |

Guess SE's pcsuite is still rubbish software. Having my pc recognize my p800 used to be such a drag. Un- and reinstalled it about 4 times for it to work semi-properly.
But i vaguely remember reading that more people had k750 user had probs with plug and play on pc's. So you're not alone i guess.
Oh and don't take it out on the phone, just use the cd's as frisbees. ;)

azz0r:
Check the device manager when you have the phone connected, maybe its just a driver that it doesn't recognise. if so then have it scan the k750 CD to see if it can find it.
Else, upgrade your motherboard drivers. (just in case)
if you know the chipset it runs on (nForce, VIA, SIS, intel) or the make and model of the board (the manufacturer site will tell you what chipset it runs on) then download the appropriate drivers.
nForce drivers - http://www.nvidia.com
VIA - http://www.viatech.com (if I remember rightly)
SIS - no idea. Google
Intel - http://www.intel.com |

I'm with gigs on this one, got to be worth a try. Just though I'd mention that:
VIA drivers are now at www.viaarena.com
SIS drivers are at www.sis.com
The SIS site is flipping awfull to navigate but the drivers will be on there somewhere

Try going into the device manager, delete the USB entries. Reboot the PC and it should find them all again.
If this does not work, do what I did. Trash my Windows PC and now I have a Mac. No problems what so ever.
Seriously though, this is a quite common error with Windoze. Trahs the USB, reboot and it should work after that.
*edited on a Mac of course. Mac: There is no substitute*
