what is difference between Wap and Gprs? |

hi everybody
i have K500i and my network operator send me three settings to install 1st MMS, 2nd WAP, 3rd GPRS... my question is what is difference between last two WAP and GPRS and which should i have to set for internet and which is better for My Friends???

You can look at it this way:
WAP is the WWW (internet) for the mobile phone/device, whilst GPRS is the data transmission technology that connects the internet (as in ADSL, Cable,...).
You connect using GPRS to the WAP-net. |

The wap settings will be csd dial up, usually charged at a constant rate(10p a min on o2 uk), the gprs settings still connect to wap, but that's only charged every time you load a page. Usually cheaper.

gprs is also used to send pics to other mobiles.. its just a data network, 3g is the same only its so fast the live video streaming is also possible!!
wap is the same as the internet but for mobiles! |

And i forgot to mention gprs at least 5 times faster than csd.
