hey, i'm a new k700 user, just transffered from nokia (it has been my fav. until recently- shame on their price/options quota)
anyway, i sem to have a "problem":
my k700 display looks great- vivid and all, but when i compared my display with that of another k700, my came out to be "shady".
less bright and less vivid.
also, LED under keys seem to be somewhat less brighter.
it doesn't worry me much now, and you can hardly tell when not keeping two phones next to eachother, but i would like to know if it's a cause for concern (wouldn;t like my display going even darker, or sth)
tnx |

I think its likely to be more of a case of different firmware.
Are the phones branded differently or have different firmware ? my K700i always looked normal. When i compared it to a friends Orange K700i, his screen was much darker, and his keypad was a different darker lilac colour.
I dont think theres a problem with either phone.

Are they branded differently ?
My unbranded K700i always had a brighter display than my friends branded Orange phone.
You might also want to turn the phones contrast up.

nope, no brightness or contrast adjustments in the k700

Oops, my bad. I forgot the K700i has no contrast control.
The T610 did, and the new K750i has brightness control. I always found it strange why SE left it out of the K700i.
Anyway, like i said, id just put it down to different branded firmware.
