You can use two bluetooth and make a LAN connection and share the connection . I dont know the speed levels its depend On the transfer speed between two bt dongles

ummm bluetooth only goes to ten metres, why dont you just get an ethernet cable to connect the two, probably more reliable

I'm not sure this is possible without third-party software. I've certainly never seen anything in the windows XP networking side of things that suggest a native way of using BT as a wireless networking device?
Of course, if you can use a BT connection to surf the web on your phone using your computers connection, then there's no reason why you couldn't do it with a laptop but I really don't think that XP has built in functionality for doing this. It might be worth searching for an application that does though.

well i have tried,
i have pc and laptop talking to each other,
and then enable my pc to share my broadband..
but the laptops having none of it.
laptop only has service pack 1 on it, may be something to do with that or the fact each of my dongles have different software
i will keep trying

It probably won't be anything to do the dongles software, SP2 does have extra BT functionality though.
Let me know if you do manage to get them sharing internet over bluetooth without using additional software, would you? That would definately be worth knowing in my line of work!
