Z800 on Three.
First phone I've seen with a three logo on it.
Guess there's hope for people.

I see what u mean now...
however, so far, I haven't heard anyone really being banned from Three for using Non-Three handset..
and yes, it's silly for THREE doing that... What the point ?? as long as people use the network, pay the money & vedio calling fee....they should be more than happy about it!!

hey ben good to see you on here
this guy (kingmobilephone) is very very good everyone, you can trust him to make your v800 into a z800
i have done this with 2 telephones and I am using one on three... it is OK so far, no letter, no text.
I think you just must make sure that you are on the umts network, not roaming on 02. If you stay on 02 (by switching the phone to GSM only) I think there will be problems.
It's pretty rational on 3's part IMHO. The UK 3 has a totally weird pricing model (My tarriff is £3 p.m. for 500min/100txt) based on gaining maximum subscribers. So they are losing money on each customer anyway. They need to claw it back through content sales, or at least reducing the charges they incur when people roam on 02 "unneccesarily".
