The Nokia 6630 is a WCDMA enabled phone. I've a few questions on that:
1. does that mean it can switch between the GSM and WCDMA networks according to the SIM inserted without any change in hardware config.
2. Has anyone tried the above?
3. Does that also mean it can run on cdma networks?
(or more specifically on the tata-indicomm network(india), using the SIM they provide?)

Thanks a lot in advance

I took my 6630 to Japan and without changing my gsm sim card, the phone work right away. In Japan, you can buy 6630 vodafone branded so I assume the phone must also work with 3g simcard. Hope this answers your question.
The 6630 will not work on cdma network.
