You will need to take the phone to a service point and explain exactly what you have done. If it was sues that you used then they will sort it out for you.

I know someone who had the same problem
He tried flashing via seus again, and eventually it came back

Make sure all firewalls, popupblockers etc on your pc is turned off.
You might need to try on a different pc.

The thing that i would do is to re-update the firmware.

explanation is, the update didnt get to finish correctly and thus did not put on the last part which is the camerasoftware.

You need to reflash, and as I said perhaps try on another computer.
Most likely its something to do with your computer setup

It has been explained in this thread allready.

It happens because the updateprocedure does not finish correctly, it does this because of configurationproblem at each individuals computers not because of problems with the phone or the updatesite.

There are as many different computersetups as there are computers on this earth, this means billions. Noone can tell how each individual can fix their computer setup so that it works correctly because there are so many different things that influate.

Your computer may have a poor usb connection causing a loss of connecting during update.
Your computer may have some services running in the background that interfere with the firmwareflashing
Your computer may have some other things installed that conflict, firewalls, antivirus, drivers etc. etc.
Your computer may be running wrong javaversion
Your computer may have any number of unknown factors to prevent it from functioning as expected.

You fix the problem on the phone by reflashing the firmware
You fix the problem of flashing your firmware by fixing whatever problem you have with your computer, only you or the nearest computerexpert can help with that.

If you are not able to fix your computer to work fluently with the online update site, then its best to get the phone reflashed at a service centre instead.

IMO thats all BULLSHIT!

My phone worked 100% when I got it, then suddenly the camera started to play up, and finaly it never would work.
This was before I had done a firmware update on the phone.
I then did a FW update, still no good. Done it from several PC's too.
Now the phone is at my SE Service Senter, hopefully they will sort it out.
They said that it wassnt the first phone they got with this problem, and it seems like the earlyer ones are more exposed for this camera problem.

HI

Mine too.
I´ve tried from several different PCs and the results have always been the same. And before the update, the camera often failed. So, i think the problem is on the phone.

Thats a completely different situation, totally irrelevant to the debate on camerasoftware missing after performing a firmwareupdate.

IMO you should actually try and read the content of the thread before calling anything bullshit.

No, it's the same problem! The camera don't work, and the camera info in the service-meny is missing. Thats what SEROS wrote in the first post, and thats exactly the problem I am having (ref. my link posted earlyer)
