settings, sounds and alerts, message alert, position to the last item and press the right soft key which says replace and choose what you want

Also note that you can have a different sound for e-mail than you have for sms. Goto e-mail settings and choose a sound just as you do for sms. This is a new feature that the K700 lacks.
Also, sms and e-mail sounds can be in midi, mp3 and wave format. But the alarm sound can only be in midi and mp3, not wave - that's strange! |

I stumble upon this accidentally. U can go to file manager - sounds then go to the wav file u want and choose more and use as alarm. Same for amr.
