How do I overwrite K750i SEus usb drivers with DaVinci's? Do I need to? |

I downloaded the SE Update service USB drivers to enable me to try and update the firmware the other day (have found out since it is not working at moment for O2 customers).
Now looking at DaVinci site to see what their update is like and it warns I have to download their USB drivers for the K750i client to work. However when I hold 'C' and plug the USB cable in it now automatically installs the SEUS drivers already on my PC.
I have tried uninstalling the drivers from Hardware Device manager (not sure if I found all instances of SE phone as there are quite a few) and also uninstalled PC Suite.
Have tried manually updating hardware for phone but there are numerous .inf files with the DaVinci drivers and numerous instances of the phone in different areas of hardware (USB, modem etc.) and if I try to auto do it to the folder with the DaVinci drivers it just says 'no better match found'.
Can anyone help? Can I force it to use the DaVinci drivers somehow? Can I completely uninstall old drivers from my PC's memory somehow?

the drivers you find on the davinci site work the same as the ones on sony ericsson site
As long as you have the usb and the flash drivers installed you will be able to upgrade firmware or debrand your phone
I may be mistaken but i believ the only drivers that require you holfding the C button when turning on the phone are the flash ones
you will know they are installing as it says flash device ound during the install

Thanks for your help.
I don't think the flash drivers are installed though, as I think the SEUS drivers are just for the USB.
Not sure how to install these ones. |

The drivers on the sony ericsson site are the flash drivers
The ones with pc suite are the usb drivers
this is as far as my memory serves as cant access the site at the moment for some reason
Try updating the firmware and let me know how you get on and what messages come up |

Drivers for K750 are the same as on seus! no need to reinstall if they are already installed.
DSS-25 "patched" drivers are also original sonyericsson, only not public. I think they should be also able too use with SEUS, (didnt try SEUS in my life) as they are standaard supplied with EMMA2 package! |
