I've noticed other people posting questions on using other functions whilst playing mp3s? I can't seem to figure out a way of getting to the main menus without stopping the mp3 player. I guess the phone wasn't designed with multitasking in mind?

and...

Does anyone know of a newer ericsson mp3 player in development. MMC cards don't really hold that much in this day and age, especially at their price.

Chris I've gone and found it for you as I'd forgot it myself so you owe me a beer! Stella will do

Here is how:

While playing move joystick *up* and then press *No* button for 3 seconds. Now *press* joystick.

it works, but it's even easier than that.

hold the joystick up or down,
while holding it press and release the no button
keep holding it and within about 2 seconds you return to the phone
menu, or standby screen, wherever you were last.
now you can let go of the joystick

just wish it dodn't go back so easily, make is hard to play the games if it keeps going back to the mp3 screen

Yep it works and it is brill, although you can't play Naval Fleet as it takes to long and goes back to the MP3 player. You only have to leave it a few seconds and it goes back to the MP3 player. Oh well can't have everything can you.
