My video doesn't have a more button any where, think this is where the confusion lies.

In video mode settings/shoot mode set to high quality video.

Now record away untill you run out of memory.(at least I think you should be able to, there may still be some form of limit. But it works for at least a couple of mins, thats the longest I've wanted to shot so far.)

I think they've made a change in latest version of phone.

My first one, which went back after it suddenly refused to recognise the sim would take unlimited length video - or at least several minutes long. The replacement one only seems to take clips that come to about 88k in size. You can alter the length by changing size and quality settings, but as soon as it reaches that limit it stops recording. Max I've managed on minimum settings is 19secs.

no they didnt
Ive just recorded 2 minuttes video, both in large size and small size.
When selecting high quality mode, its only limited by amount of free memory, either on phone or on memorycard depending on which media youve set it to record on.
Perhaps your memory is full ?

Well I've got a 512M memory stick in mine and it's recording to the stick. There's no problem with space. Something has definitely changed between the two phones I've had
