The story is that I recently got a new K700i on orange a few days ago, due to the other being funny during charges. I've tried to connect to FMA but it aint working, the only COM ports that uses BT is 10, 4 and 8. tried all these and it isnt connecting. Any ideas?

cheers

Maybe you haven't paired devices. What drivers are you using- original or windows xp's?

Go to
- my bluetooth places- on the left panel is bluetooth wizard- create new service- serial port 1- then you can see which com port is assigned, so enter it in fma.

Before you start fma right-click serial post and connect (You do this only for the first time, after that fma can initiate connection) Sometimes you gotta have dial-up service installed, nevermind you're not using it. I know it doesn't make sense, but it's just like that especially if you're using widcomm drivers. If it's not working, unpair, delete your bt services, and then install them again. (serial port and other services you need)

Ok. When you enter my bt places, choose bt setup wizard on the left, choose 'i know what service i want...' and proceed. Do you have serial port on the list that appears? If yes select it, install, and it will appear in my bt places. If you don't have it, that means either you didn't install it at all or it messed up somehow. In that case pm me and I'll reply you what to do.
