Well, either battery's dead or charger, or connectors are very dirty. Plug some other phone on that charger, if it works, use old dry toothbrush or some other brush to clean connectors. If that doesn't help, use someone else's battery, to check if your battery's dead

iv got the only SE out of all the people i know, so i cant do anything but clean it. i have cleaned all the visible dirt from the connectors but that didnt help. also, the battey isnt dead because it still charges sometimes. |

how long have you left it plugged in for? try leaving the phone plugged into the charger for an hour to see if it starts charging

Get a new charger or a new batt. One of them for sure.

Then it's time for you to change company. I mean- what kind of people must they be not to use se phone? ;-) you said before that it doesn't charge at all, now you say sometimes it does? it's probably a charger problem. are you sure your ac plug is working? try on some in another room. and try to move charger cable around- if it starts/stops charging, you found the problem.

Can you borrow a charger from a friend and try that one. OR do you know anybody with a SE phone and can use your charger on it for troubleshooting?

sorry if i was a little unclear. i meant that a week ago it charged off and on. a couple of days ago it stopped charging all together. iv switched plugs, wiggled the charger around and left it on for way over an hour. nothing works. buying a new battery or charger is out of the question. im 14 and have no money. the cheapest charger iv found around here is $25!!! and batteries are $75. |

i had this problem, turned out that my connector was sirty... it didnt look liek it but it was, and the charger wasnt fitting properly because of it, which made it not charge.

Try cleaning the contacts with Isopropyl Alcohol.
I have come across Nokia's which have a fault with the contacts on the bottom, one was a 5120 (old style 5120) which was brand new.
Never had this fault with though.

Find some1 who has se phone. Try a little harder, because once you find out which part doesn't work, you will easily find it here, for lower prices.
