renaming pics on the memory card (k750) |

I renamed some of my camera pics on my K750 memory card. Now I can't browse to them at all using the phone File Manager. But when connected to the PC, I can instantly browse to them in a different directory on the memory stick?
Whats going on? And how do I view them on the phone? |

you cannot rename camerapictures in the camerafolder.
This would ruin the automatic numbering.
Therefore you should first move it to the appropriate pictures folder and then rename it. If you have manually placed it in a different folder than the normal pictures folder the phone cannot find it.
The correct folder is under

yes...just because the phone keeps in track of the pics by the name it has stored in... unless you rename with the help of the phone itself....
when you rename with the help of a comp...the phone will still look for the original name ... and will not find it...and will not show you....

ok thats made it slightly clearer. I moved my renamed files from the memory stick to the phone camera directory but still could not see the files. Is there any way i can view these files again on the phone?
Also, how do i move the files from the phone's camera directory to the memory stick? Cant find an option on the phone to do this? |

@chiefwiggum.... i dont think once you rename them ..its possible to make it back....unless you remember the name ...if you do.. then rename it back and it should work fine..
i am not clear about the second question of yours....
i think
you select the pics ...using mark...mrak all..or mark severalll then select manage files....move to mem stick....
you can really put all the pics that you taker in the cam to the stick..
turn on the camera...settings....save to...mem stick
i hope that answers your question

I actually got my old files back, by moving them back to the camera folder.

the thing about the camera picture numbering... it's weird.
you take one picture, it's DSC0001 or whatever, then you take another, but dont like it, so you delete, then the next picture you take is DSC0003... i wish it would just go with the next unused number, but either way is okay. |

if you have already transferred all your pictures to the camera folder to your new folder...you can go the the "reset file no." so that all your succeeding pictures will be named back to DSC0001
