Let's first see at the price. S700i is much cheaper (with tons of features more than Razr).
Now the display. S700i display is brighter, sharper, and more vivid. I don't say that Razr display is bad. Razr display is truly amazing also, but S700i is just better.
The camera. Razr has only poor VGA camera. Not the best VGA, it's poor. No comparison at all to 1.3MP CCD camera in S700i.
User interface. There are some features that Razr has, but lacked in S700i. Anyway, S700i offers better menu. It's neat and fast.
Memory. Razr has only 5MB with no expansion slot. S700i has 37MB internal memory + maximum of 128MB MS Duo.
i think, these points may have you buy the S700i instead of Razr.

Razr only has 5Mb. which is useless
S700 has 188Mb(total) 40Mb in built plus MS duo up to 128Mb
plus the S700 has a megapixel cam.

But...
If you're only going to use it for basic stuff such as calls, texts etc. then the razr is certainly a very nice looking phone. Low on features, high on style.

I have a black razor (got one for free), which I resently gave away to my father. It has the looks. But other than that, not much more. And I hate the Moto UI, just can't get used to it.

This may come as a schock to some, but to be completely 100% honest, I've never fancied the design of the V3 myself, allways thought it was kinda ugly Its kinda hughe, and looks like the cheap thin creditcard sized calculators you can buy for nothing. Design never appealed to me at all, and the poor specs certainly didnt make it better

Yeah, anyone who buys a V3 would do it just for its looks. I know I would. Such a cool phone...
Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. I Nokia N95 8GB and N82 |
