my delivery reports come up as a pop-up/prompt on the screen..rather than recieving a text msg...
i quite prefer it this way dunno bout you  |

I have setting > text message > delivery reports (on)
and I get nothing...k750i and I remember my k700 didnt have them either.
Maybe Im doing something wrong? |

If you are on O2 and want delivery reports then type *0# at the beginning of the text message and you wwill get a report back.

I'm glad we don't have O2 in Denmark. They seem to suck.
This forum is full of people complaining about their lame O2 branding and not being able to use your own MP3-ringtones, and the phones constantly freezing etc. And now this: Why would you even consider buying O2???

I think that you are confusing O2 with Vodafone.
O2 branded handsets are least brnaded on the market, they dont even lock the phones to O2. They also do allow MP3 ringtones.
I will admit that there have been a couple of instances of bugs with the O2 handsets though.

You're right. O2 does allow your own MP3's. Sorry my bad.
But there is still soooo many issues with O2. Just take a look at this forum. I guess that Vodafone still is the worst and Orange isn't too good either. But come on - This stupid branding ruins everything and cluster up a forum that should be about mobile phones and not stupid operators

...I bought my phone directly from Sony Ericsson and put my 02 simcard from a k700contract into it.
This is my only issue with them. |

I have a P910i that is O2 branded and the only sign of the branding is on the start-up screen and the shutdown screen. To me this is fine as the rest of the phone has been left untouched. The O2 branded S700i I had was the same execpt for a a link to O2's wapsite instead of playnow (which I would never have used anyway).

The report option does not send you a text msg on success as it does on the brick, it just pops a msg and when you look into ur sent folder, the msg will have a small black tick mark beside it. This option is although not available when u r sending a msg to multiple recipients. |

It sort of is,- just it will only give a tick once it has been delivered to all of the recipients. |
