I have got a 256mb Pro duo card and when I insert it in my K750i the phone starts to hang or if it doesnt hang then when I start the camera it shows Memory stick not available.

remember if you format via pc/cardreader, then select fat, not fat32

the same thing happens to me mohit

I have a 1gb card it works perfectly for hours and sometimes it shows garbage text or o memory card or hangs when I access the memory card (camera) or folders,

I thought it was the cards fault as with the 64 mb one it works with no problems,
I changed the memory card and tried a different 2 gb one as well, they also hang/ crash the phone so now I'm sure it's the phone's fault, I am hoping I can replace it.

I would format the Duo in the phone myself (assuming it has that option)

@miklsp , it has the option to format in the phone
for owners about to do so , press menu , then 7 , right soft key (more option) , ext. mem. format

i hope this helps some people

To me it is always logical to format media with the device it is to be used in. That way it creates all the folders etc that it wants and doesn't end up with stuff it doesn't want

hi,

there are so many 1gb mem cards on ebay at the moment. they range between 60-70.

anyone had experience of buying from a HK seller?

which mem card is the best for the k750i. there seems a couple in the range but not too sure.

thanks,

I am talking about a Pro duo card and not a duo card and whether the K750i would support it

You should take it straight back to SE and demand a replacement then. Hope youve bought it with a bill/warranty and not grey.
