video length on my s700i |

i've noticed that on my s700i when i record a video it gives 2 options for video length "message" or "normal" but normal is only 2 minutes long! what ever happened there sux, coz my old z1010 would record till it ran out of space! any help would be appreciated thanx |

Yes that's right it only allows a certain length now. It used to say unlimited, then I updated my unbranded one to 'M' firmware and it says normal which is two minutes in length. It was something to do with the memory stick getting full and going pear-shaped I gather. |

There are quite a few threads on this subject.
An update will be needed to get rid of the restriction on the normal setting.
I updated to R3K004 and it was fine. I suggest you do the same.
