K750i CDA Information |

Now that DaVinci offer K750i unbranding, I'm thinking of going ahead and doing it. If and when I do do it, I'd like to change the CDA so I can use the SEUS in the future.
Could someone who has a SIM-free K750i from the UK tell me which firmware they have (I assume it's EU_2), their CDA, and CDA revision (the bit after the CDA beginning with 'R').
Many thanks.

Just out of curiosity, does the loss of warranty not worry you?
Or is there a way to get around that if something goes wrong? (which lets be honest, happens quite a lot with phones) |

Not really. I'd say it's unlikely anything will go wrong, and even if it does, I can send the handset back to Orange for a replacement in the first 6 months, or take it to a service centre after that, and I doubt they'd say anything.

if someone could get their Vodafone one unbranded, then they'd have the first unbranded silver K750i! haha |

Davinci's method is fine. Just for a laugh i tried it out and it worked great. The EROM problems should only arise when you are not booting the phone directly from a server.
Sorry back to topic
Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

Ah, good to know.
I don't suppose you have a list of CDAs for the K750i?

My CDA - unlocked/unbranded UK (bought from CPW) - is 102338/38 R6A.
Haven't got a complete list, I'm afraid.

Excellent, that's exactly what I wanted to know. Is your firmware EU_2?

Im going to flash mine, and would like to be sure I am eligiblle for SEUS updates in the future.
Do I want to be changing the language variant name (EMEA_1 by default) to EU_2 or EUROPE_2 (as it says in the software information on my phone) ?
Thanks,
Ja99iE

Good question. I'd like to know this too. Perhaps dave_uk can write us out his whole software info.

Im tempted to just go for it with EUROPE_2, since thats what it says on the phone in software information, I've emailed Davinci several hours ago but no reply yet.
Anyone know for sure whether to put EU_2 or EUROPE_2?

EUROPE_2 seems to have done the trick, my sowftware information screen now looks identical to before, only with R1J and dave_uk's CDA and revision number thingy.

Not tested it with SEUS, just going by it still saying EUROPE_2 like it did pre-flashing, do it at your own risk.
