there's a lot of my private stuff in my K500i and dont want anybody to check em out... i was wondering if i got any solution to make my phone lock while it is On... i got in phone settings security pannel that it only works when you Off ur phone and make it On again... not like nokia when you make ur keypad locked and when you unlock ur keypad it requests for security code...
is there any software for my K500i or nothing???
all new mobile sets must have this option and nokia is giving this option from a long time...
thanks in advance...
and i am new here =D
love you all XXX

i was asking for the same kind of protection for the pictures folder, just like samsung, but that is not possible either!

Try out Settings > General > Locks > Phone lock/SIM Lock

First one I think prevents people from sending your personal data from your phone to theirs , and the other oneprevents people form using your card in their phones...

I don't know if this fixes your problems but it can be worth a try

(Or Organizer > Code memo. For small stuff)

This is where symbian phones are superior to dumbphones where java can't access phone/pin related areas.

unfortunately, the only solution is to take care of your phone!
just be carefull and don't let "unauthorized" person to use it!
that's all!
that's what we all do!
or your info is so much more secret?
than buy p series!
