My partner and I both have the same K700i phones. Would anyone know whether we can transfer sounds & images between the two phones via infrared ports. How do we do it?

if you both have K700's why not use bluetooth? to send via infrared or bluetooth select the file and press send then a menu comes up saying send via infrared/bluetooth/sms.
select the one you want and make sure that infrared or bluetooth is enabledon both phones. for infrared you have to line ip the phones so the black panel on the top of the phones are in line then send

That is why you got BT. I use it to tranfer stuff between phones all the time.

Yes , you can. But when you use IR keep the phones closer. If BT mode is used you can keep them within few meters at line of sight.

I use infra to transfer pics, music files to other se phones.
It works fine onlything is you need them to place close infra to infra..
