Quick question.

I know that it has a 256K colours display, but i heard from more than 1 source that it's clarity isn't as good as you think it should be. Apparently it tends to be faded or sumthin. Is that true?, Please disagee! :|

Thanx!

The contrast of the screen is set higher.

It makes it easier to see outdoor in daylight than if it were set lower, and can look odd at first, but once you get used to it you dont notice.

Also, the phone looks normal if you hold it at an angle instead of dead parellel to your eyes.

For me there was a lot going on with the new UI on too smaller screen. I think it would great on the S700 but I thought a little too cramped on the K750.

I do think manufacturers should think about those that need things a bit bolder and easier to read - this is where Sagem/Voda are working well by producing the simply range.

I transferred some holiday photos from my dad's Nokia 6600 to mine and my K750 and my mum's Siemens CX65 and the photos looked noticably clearer on the K750. Obviously their's have 65k colours to my 262k but I don't think you could wish for a clearer screen IMO!

It does look a bit washed out at first if you're used to, say, a k700. But as others have said, I think it has to do with the brightness and contrast being optimized for full sunlight viewing (which is terrific). The K750 also has user-adjustable Brightness, but not Contrast, AFAIK. There's nothing to complain about this screen. It's terrific.
