Can anyone please provide me with a detailed guide on how I can open my K700i and clean the joypad? I bought it 6 months ago and the joypad is already pretty much not working, due to dust (at least that's what I believe). This phone is not covered by warranty so please don't suggest taking it to a SE service centre. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

in some cases you don't need to take it apart. a good hard blow above the joystick clears the dust away.

If things dont improve when you blow in it , buy an air duster ( basically compressed air in a aerosol can) and give the inside of the joypad a good blast - you dont need to take anything apart .

It worked wonders on my K700 , my joypad works fully now (previously down didnt work , other directions worked intermittantly) . The air duster also works great for getting dust etc out of keyboards and computer components.

If its less than ayear old it should be covered by warranty. My earpiece speaker does not work on mine and I have no receipt but looking on the back it says 04W43,but I have to see if they will fix it.
