You can't send an sms through bluetooth, but just create a new contact, write something in the "name" field and send it via bluetooth.
Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. I Nokia N95 8GB and N82 |

I would like to send more info than what it will allow in a contact plus the person has to accept the contact. Where as they can't accept or deny a message.
Does anyone know if there is any software that can be uploaded to the T630 to allow it to send sms messages via bluetooth.
Cheers

Hello welshy,
unfortunately all the T6xx series of sony ericsson does not support the class for bluetooth stack in java. So you cannot control the bluetooth trough a program installed on your phone, unless you program something in mophun, but you have to pay for that and it's a bit complicated.
The best thing available for sending messages is to create notes, as they are automatically accepted and saved, but they works only between SE phones.
Hope to be helpful to you!
Cheers

Yeah, i don't think other phones will accept notes. However, just for your info, you can try to store some funny pics in your phone and send them to others via bluetooth.
Oh and about the part where you said other that phones have to confirm the sending of contacts, that's not entirely true.
It depends on the type of phone you are bluejacking. Some older models will accept contacts into the phone without the owners consent. If I'm not mistaken, the NOkia 6310i was one of these. I've done it a few times to the NOkia 6310i |

Yes you can even store some funny pics, if you need just pm me I can provide you some of the most stupid images on the net small enough to fit a phone display!
BTW yes some nokia models don't ask anything for contacts, also newest ones like 7600.
@max99
There is something in "option, connectivity, bluetooth" for "safety" or "security" that if it's allowed ask a passkey for every transfer. Disabling that will get rid of all the additional passkeys except obviously the one for pairing. I know only about that thing, hope will be helpful! |
