I'm just about to buy my father a bluetooth headset for his Nokia 8910 but as I know nothing about headsets, having no use for them myself, I thought I'd best check before shelling out.
Silly I know, but I can use any BT headset with any BT enabled phone, correct?
Also, does anyone have any recommendations as to which headsets are better than others?
Thanks

Since Bluetooth is a standard, any headset should work with any BT-enabled phone.
In my experience and opinion, the best headset i have tried sound quality-wise is the Plantronics M3000 and the most comfortable one is Motorola HS-810
For me, sound quality and good battery life (Plantronics) was outweighed by the better comfort of the Moto (which by no means has bad sound, itīs just that the M3000 is better.
The Ericsson HBH-ones fall somewhere in between those mentioned IMO, but itīs really subjective and, i guess ear-shape dependant

Thanks ThreeX, that's pretty much what I thought.
He uses the mobile for work and drives a lot so sound quality is important, but I guess comfort is a consideration too as he does have abnormally big ears..... |
