Right. Now I've fathomed out how to download my theme from the SE site to my phone, I thought I'd share it with others on here, even though it is only basic. My problem is that when I try to upload, I get a message saying pixels are too big, reduce to 176x176.

Questions!
A) how? [I don't have photoshop - only basic MS Paint]
B) why does it have to be resized when it fits the phone screen OK?

Any solutions would be most welcomed!

Thanks.

If you have Office 2003 you use the MS Picture Manager, then you firstly crop the picture to the correct ratio, then you select to resize it to custom and enter the dimensions.

Ratio is 1.25 so to get to a 176*220 size and you have for example a 800*600 image, you have to crop it to 750*600, but as this is in landscape and you require portrait, you will have to crop it to 480*600 and then resize.

The ratio in this case is 1.25 ie 220 divide by 176 is 1.25, so 600 divide by 1.25 will give you 480

Hope this makes sense. This is what I do to make all my own themes.
