g'day guys how r ya's all?
anyway my sony ericsson T230 is kinda screwd. if someone calls me i have about 5 - 10 secs to answer otherwise the phone will stop ringing. i called my own phone and when it stops ringing a machine lady says "sorry, the owner of this phone is not able to get to the phone at this time" stuff like that. neway i called up telstra to c if i had msg bank and i did. so they got rid of msg bank.
the phone still continues to ring for only 5 - 10 secs!
Why? please help

Btw have you tried different ringtones? What else you tried? Is not the master reset one of the options?

After a master reset the phone is supposed to work according to factory default settings. Only the pre defined stuff remain undeleted.

No need to do a master reset; call your network supplier.
The length of your ringing can be altered and they will know the code to press to do so. They migh even be able to do it remotely.
It.ls in your SIM not your phone.

Found the code:

**61*number**how many sec#send

Not sure if this is a standard code or different to each supplier.

I knew it was in here somewhere.
Sat on the train this morning trying to search, first on a K750 then a P910, but found it easier, in the end, to just call for help.
