As ya all know, j200i has a poor battery life. Will the powersave mode really help me? Or it is worthless? Thanks.

Power save will help to maximise the battery life (but that will turns off the screen in idle mode to optimize stand-by time.)

Yup, there are different:-
On- consumes xtra battery power, standby time reduce;

Off - your phone will be in dark;

Auto - you will have your clock as screensaver when in standby mode;

Powersave - will maximise your battery life but will turn off your screensaver (clock) in standby mode.

why do you think its called "Powersave mode"..
And there is a comprehensive thread on Tips to enhance battery life, which expalins all the modes....so whats the big point of starting a new thread....another attention seeking thread, eh?

@manish...following are the reasons

1) Your threads make no constructive sense whatsoever.

2) The topics fall into one of the below categories

a. "Which was your first/last phone" or some variant....how does it matter?
b. "x phone VS y phone" or some variant ( This information is available on the raher helpful mobile phone comparison tool on the Esato homepage. I guess you dont explore any other section of this forum apart from the garbage threads"
c. "Im leaving" or some variant......this is the most glaring example of an attention seeking thread ive ever seen in this forum
d. some other inane topic

4). Your responses in other threads usually fall into these categories 1) smiley or 2) "I agree" or 3) another question...which indicates that there is no constructive thing that you have to say, but that youre posting for the sake of it ( and i cannot understand why anyone would want to do that other than for reasons of increasing post count)

Guess the above are reasons enough....sorry MODS,i just had to say it this time...

Thats what u think. If i post in garbage thread more it means i have no intention of increasing my posts. U better mind ur business and dont argue with me here.

Attention seekin threads in the garbage section is even worse
See...there doesnt seem to be much you have to say in your own defense... other than a typical " I know what Im doin" stubborn teenager response....

It helps. But we can not count much on that.
