Hi,

I've been wondering about the new type of connector. Do you guys have any comments on it?
How is its action, actually how do you remove it (do you still have to tilt it up to break loose)?
Any issues with it (bad connection)?

Thanks,

Dietbrand

The new connector is cool, fits both the charger and handfree, all you need plug in and out , no need to adjust and tilt it up. Been using for past 2 days, so far so good.

I think the new connector is great too. its a lot easier than the old SE types and it relly looks good at the bottom of the phone too. Sad but true

You don't have to tilt it at all.On my T610i,sometimes it would not be charged when left overnight or would connect/disconnet repeatidly keeping me awake.Tilting scratches away the gold plate so this should be better.

I tilt it up to take it out. The little fingers that hold the connector into the phone are longer and have smaller detents than the old connector. I don't think anyone's had the phone long enough to comment on durability.
I've had one USB connection drop while transferring some files, FWIW.

The new connector is pretty cool and not as flimsy as the other charger where the 2 black connectors are very close.

True, but it means too that you need a different charger for your headset and your phone. And there's no micro travel charger or car lighter charger for the new connector yet.

I think it sucks bigtime. Can't have the charger and wired handsfree connected at the same time...

My USB connector is a bit odd, sometimes it drops connection but continues to charge the phone. Jiggling it fixes things.

So I bought the K750i yesterday.
As I tried the just plug unplug way, I found it to be not ideal. After thouroughly rereading the manual I discovered THAT YOU STILL NEED TO TILT THE CONNECTOR!!
It's in the manual (french, english, dutch) so I tried it and I must say it works quite fluently, no interference from the long prongs so tilt the damn thing

Yeah, I also tilt mine. When I first got my K750i, I just pulled the connector straight out no problems BUT I do find it comes out easier with a slight tilt. I'm guessing this will be easier on the connector also!

Hi,

Are there any Mac users out there using the connector?

My Powerbook G4 has never crashed before, that is, until I started using the connector to transfer MP3's to the phone.

I suppose 10.4.2 *may* fix this but has anyone else experienced the problem?
