Hi,
I have a SE T230 from Brasil Telecom. Yesterday, I was trying to download a new theme when a message appeared on the display: "To download large files, enable HTTP". My question is, how can I do it? I didn't find anything about this in the user's manual. Please help me friends.
Thanks!

Http or full internet access as far as i know is activated form your operators side. Its not a setting in the phone. There is no such setting in the t230 to my knowledge. I think there is such a setting in other models. Call up your operator and ask them whether you have a limit on downloadable file sizes. Hope this helps.

yup.
t230 does not have any menu which allows you to enble HTTP. So that leaves only one culprit - your operator. |

Hi, What you need to know is that you are accessing wap on gprs not http. Http is like full internet where one can browse http sites etc. Wap is only for wap sites. Now the file being large needs http access. There is an option in your connectivity menu under connection, connect via wap or http- you can only change this if you have subscribed for http mode

Whiz is actually correct. There is a http mode in k700 which will take away the download limit on the phone. The wap mode will only allow 300kb. Incidently, i would like to know the theme for t230 which is greater than 300kb.

@gov Yep. I have been able to download exactly 550kb file or video. More than that i get a error saying file size to large so my hutch limit is 550kb . I think 300kb is 2 little. Please check on this bro

The se wapsite classifies 10-20 kb files as "large"
