Just upgraded my t68 to t68i, and I want to send some themes to my phone via datacabel. But I cant really find out how to do this, do I need any kind of software on my pc to do this. I got a program named Mobile Phone Monitor already, which I used to send background pictures to my phone.

Having Mobile Phone Monitor will allow your phone to establish a connection with your PC. You will also need a program to actually send things along this connection.

You can download Sony Ericsson's "My Pictures" program from their website (or third party software like "sendfile") which will let you send files such as a theme.thm, picture.gif, ringtone.imy (etc.) file to your phone.

What Operating System (OS) are you using ? I use Windows XP. I forgot if it works with a data cable because I removed my data cable already and replaced with an MA-620 infrared device. Anyway, you can try a simple way of uploading to your phone - if it works with a data cable.

RIGHT CLICK on the file and choose SEND TO your phone.

Let us know if it works with a data cable and other OS. But I am sure it works using Windows XP and MA-620 Infrared.

Cheers

I don't encounter any problem, I use a generic data cable and Windows XP. everything works fine.
