I know a friend who own a non SE phone.....he was complaining the camera on his PDA phone have bad picture quality compare to others who bought the phone together with him.
So one day he send it to a service centre and guess what the service personnel told him....the liner used to protect the camera module during production time didn't peel off by the ppl doing the assembly.
So this could be a point for you to take note in case you found your phone didn't have the same quality as per your friend's
the sad part is for that friend of mine. the liner used by that company didn't have any special marking...so no one knows there's a protective liner until the service personnel open the phone. |

Could this be mine problem as well? U can see my pic quality on page 40 at post your pic....topic. So do i have somekind on liner on my lense inside the phone? Can i take it off by my self?
Some told me that my pics are fussy cos FW but almost everyone has same FW than me and they have much better pic quality.
What u mean with liner(dont understund the word)?
Is it like some "thing" that should not be there?
Like on the screen when u buy the phone?

Why quoting ?
The liner is a little plastic that covers parts to protect from scratches or dust, it's mostly used on screens and for this case: the camera lens

the liner like jim said is a a piece of plastic protective tape.
yup it should be there coz camera optics performance will be affected by any plastic there.
you shouldn't open the phone to remove it if it is under warranty since it is not your fault....it is just manufacturing fault.
but the chance to have this happen is not often.
if you have a t610...the chances is the lens itself isn't good....since we all know how bad t610 camera lens is |

Highly unlikely that this happens to many phones.
