Once a while a get 'strips' on my display but they usually disapers when I move the joystick. But not change of colurs, darker lighter.
Does it happens alot? |

No, that is not normal! You sohuld go to a Ericsson Center as soon as possible to take care of that problem!

Every time I turn it on, then the darker bottom slowly disappear.
But the stripes remain.

The stripes are there because that the Screen in the phone is not a Real TFT. i have a old laptop at home ant it has the same problem with the screen. |

Always there are some vertical stripes from top to the botom of the screen but at least to my t68 are invisible and only under specific source of light are visible. The darker part of your screen I am affraid is a problem but also the white stripes are easilly recognized from the picture. So, it would be a good idea to visit your nearest SonyEricsson service center. |

I've got the same problem with the vertical stripes. Slightly less intense than your's, so it does not really bother me.
The dark part is not good, though. |

I've got the problem too, it's hardly that apparent though. Very visible when using this background, which has a solid brown background but appears with stripes.

I have the vertical stripes too when in light colour background but no darker bottom, after I have my phone upgraded FW R2A the vertical stripes was gone, now I have a very nice color display, just don't know how the FW able to control the LCD color, try upgrade your phone to FW R2A see it can solve your problem or not. |

That's right, with R1B/R1C when playing snake game the vertical stripes will appear bcoz it have the light colour background. But all this was gone after I upgraded to R2A. |

So you say it’s an sw bug and not an hw problem right?
Well I went to the store today anyway and they are going to take a look at it.
Their answer will come in 1 or 2 weeks.
