Hi I just got the phone and it won't charge...so I looked at the copper pins on the charger and there is one pin on the right sticking up and one pin next to it barely visible...I don't think it is touching the connectors on the phone. It appears it is stuck inside the charger.

Can anyone confirm how many pins I am meant to have and if they are all sticking out?

The phone does not show a battery icon on the screen and when the phone is switched on and the charger plugged in, nothing indicates that it is charging. Is my charger duff?

Thank you.

Well, I offically think Orange are crap. Last friday I ring up to get a replacement charger. They say expect it within 3 days. I received it today (tuesday) and guess what! Some stupid monkey has sent me the wrong charger! So I ring them up and demand a next day replacement and I am told they don't offer that as a service. I have to wait another 3 days and I don't even know if I'm going to get the correct charger!!

As a new customer for all of one week, I am totally unimpressed. I cannot even use my phone and I'm being charged for this! WELL DONE ORANGE.

If you have just purchased your phone, then why not return it. You have 14 days to return your phone. I would also be anoyed to. But every one can make errors. And its not Oranges fault in the first place that the charger is faulty.

If you go to a local Orange shop, the normal offer a charge up service free, so you could take your phone in, charge it up, do a bit of shopping and then call and collect it. Not ideal but its a start.

Orange are normaly very good and ive never had any problems with any of there replacements. Orange send the items out if you call before 5.30 on the sameday in the post. The 3 days is to cover dealys in posing.
