I'm abosutely not a nokia fan, but it's interesting to know opinion of you guys about which one will be better, our beautiful T68i or the new coming up Nokia 6610? It sounds that this new phone might show a decent competition once launched.

Check this out. You'll see that the T68i lack in 3 and the 6610 in 9. But you can buy a camera to the T68i you can't do that to the 6610 2-9. The T68i doesn't have java, it should be 3-9.

•You should also observ that the 6610 has a better display 4096c

•That the 6610 has only 300min talk time and the T68i 780min.

•That the 6610 only has 1.2.1wap and the T68i 2.0wap.

•No joystick on the 6610.

•Free upgrades at SonyEricsson .

But u also should consider Java capability, polyphonic ringtones, and radio with speaker option on 6610.
though this phone lacks such main issues as Bluetooth, camera option, themes, etc.

Regarding the link above supplied by Gustaf:

+ The Nokia 6610 does sync with a PC (I don't think it uses SyncML, but to most people that's not a problem).
+ It supports colour Operator Logos (Nokia's version of backgrounds and the 4096 colour display is 128x128 - default 122x96 for MMS).
+ The FM radio is supposed to be improved and now in stereo.
+ A camera is planned for end-2003 (7210 compatible).

It also has an integrated handsfree speaker, and I would check to see about the vibrating alert once the phone is released.

It's not a bad phone at all. Java games, changeable covers, FM stereo radio and polyphonic ringtones is something the T68i doesn't have and will appeal to mass market.

Lucky Nokia is marketing it's 'Pop-Port' instead of Bluetooth or the T68i will have even tougher competetion in it's area.

I've heard about that phone, but it is said to be just rumours...
besides that, it really has all the features packed up in one piece, and very nice speicifications, heh.
It has blutooth, java, color screen, not sure about the triband..

Operator logos and backgrounds are two different things. Both of these are supported in 6610.

That is wrong report. As i know Nokia is the first brand which implement vibrate in cellular phone.

It is discrimination page.
