to get your T65 updated with the latest firmware (R5A010) you need to leave your phone to a authorized servicepoint (or a dealer and they'll send it to a servicepoint)

To find the answers to your questions you can use the search function

There are no service points in my Country and the dealers refuse to send my mobile to the servicepoint. How I can do it without them?

- Correction in the WAP module, the error could cause the phone to restart
- Improvements on T9
- Correction on SIM authentication so all 32K SIM cards are accepted

this was the major improvements in R5A010

I suggest you call Helpdesk (phone number can be found on http://www.sonyericsson.com ) and they can hopefully help you

you can't erase or add new games in T65, that only works with phones supporting java.
haven't tried deleting the preinstalled pictures in T65, it might work....

Someone told me that the latest model of t65 can also forward the picture messages that they receive from Nokia telephones. Can they do that? And if they do that can I do that when I update my cellphone with the R5A010 firmware.
My mobile has R3 firmware.

Hi

Could anyone with the latest firmware R5A010 check to see if the operator list has been amended so that O2 - UK now appears instead of BTCELLNET.

Thanks

I went with my T65 to a service point once, they told me that it would cost €41,- just for checking it, to update the software it would cost extra, they couldn't tell me how much more. My T65 just reboots when i start looking on sites with lots of pictures (like Esato.com, i can look at the forums, but not at the logo sections).. So where can i download the software itself, so i can install it myself?

you have some alternatives... go back, say you have problem with reboots and stuff and they should fix it without charge since there is warranty on the phone (unless it's damage by liquid, dropped or any other external damage). If they still say it will cost, either go to a different servicepoint, or call helpdesk.

You can't download/install the phone firmware yourself, the server containing the phone firmwares can only be accessed by authorized servicepoints (or others having the right hardware equipment)

There are websites that have the software to download the firmware from your mobile and the reload it incase of any problem(www.mobile.box.sk) so if you find someone who has the r5 uploaded on his mobile you can download it to your pc and the download it to your mobile using the cable that you can buy.
But it's not that easy to find someone with the proper firmware believe me.
